Investigators are examining the purchase of a luxury apartment in the Gampaha area, reportedly valued at around Rs. 30 million. According to information uncovered during the inquiry, the property was acquired in the name of Basik’s father.

Authorities have therefore summoned the father to the CCIB to record a statement concerning the apartment and the circumstances surrounding its purchase.
