The action was carried out by the Illegal Assets Investigation Division under the provisions of Sri Lanka’s Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
Police said the assets include a 15-perch plot of land and a two-storey residential property in the Welipenna area. The properties have been placed under restrictions while investigators examine their alleged links to the suspect.
