Sri Lanka is currently a 24-hour tax country, and the solution to the country’s problems is not 24-hour taxation, says Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader and leader of Samagi Jana Balavegaya
He also points out that taxes are levied on the country’s producer, consumer, and income.
He says there are many other options for building the country and overcoming the economic crisis besides taxing.
He said this at a school children’s function held at Kekirawa Muslim Maha Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura District.
