Harshana Suriyapperuma Appointed as Finance Secretary

Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma has officially been appointed as the Secretary to Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Finance. The appointment was made this morning at the Presidential Secretariat, with Presidential Secretary Dr. Nanditha Sanath Kumanayake presenting the official letter.

Dr. Suriyapperuma steps into this key administrative role after resigning from his position as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Finance & Planning. His resignation was submitted specifically to take up the new responsibility within the ministry.
