On July 20, women in Imphal burnt down the house of one of the accused in the Manipur viral video case. Let us tell you that so far four arrests have been made in the case.

The FIR claimed that the mob had killed a man who had tried to stop some people from raping his sister on May 4. After this, both the women were paraded naked and sexually assaulted in front of other people. An FIR has been lodged at Saikul police station which claims that around 900-1000 people carrying modern weapons like AK rifles, SLRs, INSAS and .303 rifles barged into the village in Kangpokpi district, about 68 km south of Saikul police station. The violent mob ransacked the houses and after looting the movable properties, set them on fire.
