‘Spineless’ people should go to UNP

The group around Namal Rajapakse has now started openly expressing its opinion against Ranil Wickremesinghe, while another group has indicated that the conflict must be resolved within the next two weeks.
A few people who are making theoretical comments on behalf of Namal Rajapaksa have stated that a point has been reached where those who back Ranil Wickrakamasinghe should leave the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. Namal’s theorists have posted strong offensive notes on social media, saying that if someone cannot stay in the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, they should keep their backs straight, leave the party, and join the United National Party.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, Mahinda Rajapaksa has also made a similar strong statement to the Pohottu MPs. He has asked party members to stop running after false candidates. Reports have also surfaced that they have been strongly warned to go to the villages and work for the party without staying in Colombo and expressing harmful opinions about the presidential candidate.
