“Those who are living abroad do not understand a single thing about what is happening in this country,” says Ajith Mannapperuma, Member of Parliament of the Samagi Jana Balawega, participating in the ‘Karata Kara’ programme on national television recently. He was commenting on the satisfied response of the people, who are currently working and living in foreign countries, to the National People’s Power.”I have to say that, also I feel scared to say this, when they come to vote, they also came to vote for Gota though they do not understand a thing about what is happening in this country. Bringing people from abroad to vote because there are not enough votes for them in Sri Lanka. If people in Sri Lanka vote correctly do they have to bring people from abroad? Not only those in Sri Lanka but also those abroad have been cheated. When people go abroad they don’t understand what is happening in Sri Lanka. When you shout, they accept the statistics put before them,” he said. National Executive Member Naleen Hewage participated in that programme representing the National People’s Power and he stated that the people living abroad should listen carefully to the speech of Ajith Mannapperuma,
Ajith Mannapperuma, currently an MP of the SJB  accompanied President Ranil Wickremesinghe on his foreign trips and recently he was given a cash grant of Rs. 49,986,2500.
