‘The Kerala Story’ – a bold movie produced by noted Indian filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen has come under attack from Muslims as well as leftist and secularist (pro-Islamist) forces in India. According to BBC, even before the completion of this film, leftist Indian politicians called for it to be banned while India’s socialist Congress Party and Communist Party of India (Marxist) demanded legal action against the filmmaker for daring to expose the issue. Some politicians from the Kerala state also have called for the film to be banned.
According to the HinduPost, ‘The Kerala Story’, which is based on the real-life experience of missing girls from Kerala, is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023. This film has already trigged hostile reaction from radical Islamists and a few Hindus In Name Only (HINO).
HinduPost in its report said, Kerala Story deals with terrorism, including ISIS recruitment through Love/grooming jihad. The movie is based on actual events in Kerala and will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
The Kerala Story stars Adah Sharma as an ISIS bride from Kerala and Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in other lead roles. The movie is based on the genuine accounts of young Hindu and Christian girls from Kerala who were tricked by local terrorists using grooming jihad before being flown to Syria and Iraq to join ISIS terrorist camps.
The Kerala Story details how Shalini Unnikrishnan, a rural girl who dreams of becoming a nurse, reaches an ISIS terror camp in a foreign land. The film was born in the background of news that women from Kerala are being trafficked, converted, and sent to terrorist camps. The central theme is the story of being jailed in Afghanistan as an IS [Islamic State] terrorist.
HinduPost further said, “The Kerala Story is a film that depicts how specialized Islamist gangs are working in the country to marry girls of other religions by feigning love and bringing them to ISIS. It is noteworthy that most lady victims from Kerala who joined ISIS had converted to Islam from Hinduism or Christianity before joining the terrorist group ISIS”.
It may be mentioned here that, HinduPost has long reported how Therbiyathul Islam Sabha in Kozhikode, Markazul Hidaya, or the Sathya Sarani Trust in Malappuram district have openly converted young non-Muslim women to Islam. Grooming jihadists have converted thousands. The Kerala Story teaser also mentions how Kerala CM V S Achuthanandhan conveyed the menace of grooming jihad.
Meanwhile, following release of the trailer of the film on April 27, The Kerala Story’ has already drawn attention of millions of people in India and the world, as it tells the bone-chilling story of how Islamic State and other jihadist outfits continuing jihadist activities inside India and luring Hindu females into Love Jihad trap.
The film especially showcases certain cases of how ‘love jihad’ was used by ISIS to lure 32,000 women to Syria. The trailer shows how men were brainwashed to woo Hindu and Christian women of Kerala in the name of love, convert them to Islam and convince them to join ISIS and other Islamic war zones. The shocking incidents occurred between 2018-19, when a rising number of Kerala youths had come under the influence of ISIS.
The movie is based on a tragedy where around 32,000 women went missing in Kerala. They were allegedly brainwashed and lured by Muslim men, who married and converted them, radicalized them and later deployed them in terror missions in India and abroad for ISIS.
