104 More Metro Buses Arrive in Sri Lanka

A vessel carrying 104 additional metro buses arrived at the Colombo Port yesterday (29) afternoon. The buses were imported under a pilot project to introduce modern, comfortable, and high-tech buses as a key step toward enhancing public transportation in line with the 2025 budget proposals.

These buses are scheduled to be added to the public transport network for operations within the Colombo city area starting this September.
