Veteran Singer and Actor Priyankara Perera Passes Away

Veteran singer and actor Priyankara Perera has passed away at the age of 64 while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital following a prolonged illness.

Priyankara Perera, the son of legendary Sri Lankan singer J.A. Milton Perera and husband of popular actress Dilhani Ashokamala, made notable contributions to the island’s art sector as both a vocalist and a movie actor. Throughout his musical career, he rendered his voice to several widely popular songs.
