Attention was specifically drawn to the role of technological advancement in a nation’s development. Views were also exchanged on the necessity for political parties to maintain continuous communication with the public and youth, identify their issues, and provide swift solutions.

The discussion highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and experience between the two countries as well as their political parties to achieve these goals. Views were also exchanged regarding the approaches and attention given by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sri Lankan President Anura Dissanayake to work closely with the general public.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed common challenges faced by both nations amid growing global crises and potential joint measures to tackle them. Enhancing opportunities for Indian investments in Sri Lanka and further strengthening cultural ties between the two countries were also discussed.
