A meeting between British High Commission officials and NPP

A meeting between the representatives of the political unit of the British High Commission in Sri Lanka and the representatives of the National People’s Power was held at the JVP head office at Pelawatta yesterday (10th).
Tom Sopara, the first secretary of the British High Commission and its political adviser Neluni Thilakaratne participated on behalf of the British High Commission, while MP D. Harini Amarasuriya and National Executive Member Dr Kaushalya Ariyaratne participated on behalf of the National People’s Power.
The topics discussed include the country’s current political situation and women’s participation in politics.
