Several flights, including para-gliders, have been banned in Delhi till August 16.

Delhi Police has banned flight of para-gliders, para-motors, hang-gliders, UAVs, UASS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small powered aircraft, quadcopters or para-jumping from aircraft in Delhi from 22 July to 16 August.

DGCA allows GoFirst to resume flight services

Aviation regulator DGCA on Friday allowed the airline GoFirst to resume aircraft operations with certain conditions. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Friday that it has approved GoFirst’s plan to resume operations with 15 aircraft and 114 daily flights with certain conditions. Insolvency resolution process is going on against Go First. The company had stopped its airlines from May 3. DGCA said in a press release that the airline’s resumption of operations plan to operate 15 aircraft and 114 daily flights has been reviewed and accepted.

On the viral video of Manipur, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has said that I had raised the question in Parliament but was not given a chance. In the Modi surname case, the Supreme Court heard a plea by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi challenging the Gujarat High Court order which refused to stay his sentence in a criminal defamation case, in which he was sentenced to two years in prison by a Surat court. The Supreme Court also issued notice to the complainant and Gujarat BJP MLA Purnesh Modi on Rahul Gandhi’s plea and fixed the matter for hearing on August 4 to stay his conviction.

Earthquake tremors felt in Jaipur and Manipur

Earthquake tremors were felt in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur and Manipur on Friday. Earthquake tremors of 4.4 magnitude were felt in Jaipur. At the same time, tremors of 3.4 magnitude were felt in Manipur. Panicked people came out of their homes as soon as the tremors were felt in many parts of Jaipur at around 4 am. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake in Jaipur occurred at a depth of about 10 km at 4.09 am. According to the NCS, this was followed by an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 at 4.22 am Indian time and then an earthquake of magnitude 3.4 at 4.25 am.

Supreme Court hearing on Rahul Gandhi’s petition today
