Popular actress of Bollywood and diva of hundreds of millions of fans throughout the world – Raveena Tandon was groped, molested and physically assaulted by a gang of Islamist thugs led by a burqa-clad woman. Some people may consider this June 2, 2024 incident as isolated forgetting the fact that during Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, Raveen Tandon had published a post on her ‘X’ account with the caption – Jai Shree Ram. And, this had made Raveena an enemy of Muslims, seculars and leftists, because they were against Ram Mandir. Recent attack on Raveen Tandon was the result of such anger on her because she supported Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha.

Following this incident, where Muslim mobs almost attempted to lynch her, Raveena Tandon has shared a screengrab of a media report, where, speaking with Mid-Day, DCP Rajtilak Roshan of Zone 9 said, “The complainant gave a false complaint in the alleged video. We checked the entire CCTV footage of the society and found that the actress’s driver was reversing the car from the road into the society when this family was crossing the same lane. The family stopped the car and told the driver that he should check if people are behind the car before reversing. This argument started between them”.

“This argument escalated into abusive language, and actress Raveena Tandon arrived at the spot to check what had happened with her driver. The actress tried to protect the driver from the mob; however, the mob started abusing her. Both Raveena Tandon and the family went to the Khar police station and gave written complaints. Later, they both also submitted letters stating they did not want to register any complaints”, DCP Rajtilak Roshan explained.

DCP Rajtilak Roshan further stated, “Nobody was injured in this incident. We checked the CCTV footage, and the car did not hit anyone. The actress was not drunk”.

The video of the incident has been doing rounds across social media platforms in which Raveena Tandon can be seen struggling around the people pushing her and wanting to beat Raveena and her driver.

Meanwhile, according to a media report, in Myanmar’s Rakhine State, tensions have escalated into communal violence, with reports indicating that nearly five thousand houses belonging to Hindus and Buddhists were destroyed by Rohingya Muslims in Buthidaung, located around 25 kilometers from the Bangladesh border.

A source told the media, “These 5,000 houses were targeted because they belonged to Buddhists and Hindus. Many residents had fled to safer areas, leaving houses empty, but those who remained were forcibly removed, and their homes were looted and burned before their eyes. Conscripts, including young boys from Rohingya camps in Bangladesh, were used for this operation”.

Commenting on threats posed by over 1.20 million Rohingyas in Bangladesh, authorities said, Rohingya camps in Bangladesh sheltering over 1.20 million Rohingyas who fled in 2017 is not posing serious threat to regional and global security as according to numerous sources international terrorist outfits including Al Qaeda, Islamic State (ISIS), Hezbollah, Hamas, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Muslim Brotherhood, Hizb Ut Tahrir, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and others are already infiltrating within the camps, thus recruiting many as towards terrorist and jihadist plots.

It may be mentioned here that, majority of Rohingyas from Myanmar are Muslims – most of whom have a heavily radicalized mindset with alarming signs of their hatred towards non-Muslims, almost openly express solidarity towards international terrorist outfits and jihad. A large segment of these Rohingyas also are – directly or indirectly involved in drug peddling, arms trafficking, as well as they are connected to transnational human trafficking and prostitution rackets.

One of the most alarming information which deserves immediate attention of security agencies in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries in the region is – highly-radicalized Rohingyas are succeeding in freely travelling to various countries by joining Tablighi Jamaat (TJ).

Officials of law enforcement agencies in Bangladesh have been consistently saying, radical Islamic militancy outfit Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) is involved in murders, abduction and other forms of criminal activities, while members of this outfit regularly enter Bangladesh from Myanmar and commit series of crimes and they also run drug peddling, arms trafficking, human trafficking and kidnapping, recently Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan told reporters, Rohingya camps in Bangladesh may become hub of international terrorists. He said, “There may be an influx of arms. Many things can happen. And we already see some signs of these”.

He said, unrest may occur in Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh if Rohingyas are not repatriated soon.

According to the minister, some of those people who are fighting against Myanmar junta are also seen inside Rohingya camps in Bangladesh.

Asaduzzaman Khan said, “The biggest fear is that drugs have been coming in from Myanmar for a long time although our country does not produce any drugs. Some people in the camps here got involved in drugs”.

Muslim Rohingyas are regularly abducting Hindu girls and women from camps in Bangladesh and selling them to international human trafficking and sex rackets.

Meanwhile, a recent article published in OpIndia, Bangladesh’s leading Bangla  daily  Jugantor and the news portal Jagonews reported that 11 Indian nationals were arrested by local police from Ramganj upazilla in the Lakshmipur district. These individuals had been lured or abducted from West Bengal in India, smuggled into Bangladesh, and converted to Islam. Radical Islamic hate-preacher Mizanur Rahman Azhari conducted the “ceremony” of this religious conversion.

According to the report, an individual named Monir Hossain, son of Mojibul Haque and local union council member Fatema Begum, disappeared from Bangladesh in 2006 at the age of 14. He went to West Bengal by joining Tablighi Jamaat and started living there, pretending to be a Hindu named “Shankar Adhikari”.

In West Bengal, he married a Hindu woman. After living in West Bengal for more than a decade, Monir Hossain and his wife fell into the trap of Tablighi Jamaat, who lured them into converting to Islam. Later, Tablighi Jamaat introduced Monir Hossain, alias Shankar Adhikari, to an individual from Bangladesh who offered him a handsome amount of cash to lure Hindu women and girls, smuggle them into Bangladesh, and force them into religious conversion.

Subsequently, he succeeded in trapping six women, most of whom were relatives of his wife, and entered Bangladesh with visas. Upon their arrival, these six Hindu women, along with Monir Hossain’s wife and two children, were converted to Islam.

From the latest case of attack on Raveena Tandon to atrocities on Hindus in Myanmar as well as risk of Rohingya camps in Bangladesh turning into hub of international terrorism and the very disturbing case of Hindu men, women and girls abducted from West Bengal – smuggled into Bangladesh and converting them to Islam demands special attention of the policymakers in India as well as media outlets. Notoriety of Islamists need to be exposed, while there should be international outcry against such heinous acts.
