Source

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has filed 43 indictments before the Colombo High Court against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, his wife, three daughters, and son-in-law. The charges are based on alleged violations of Sri Lanka’s Prevention of Money Laundering Act and anti-corruption laws.

In a related development, former Health Ministry Secretary Janaka Sri Chandragupta has been remanded until July 8 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court. His arrest was carried out by the Bribery Commission as part of an ongoing investigation into the unlawful accumulation of assets.
