Shiranthi Rajapaksa’s Former “Doctor” Claims to Expose Major Secret
Sangeeth Diassekara, an individual operating under at least five different aliases and who previously posed as the personal physician to Shiranthi Rajapaksa, recently claimed that the LTTE is operating a training camp in the country.
Following his claims, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) summoned Diassekara to record a statement. The matter was also addressed during a Cabinet decision press briefing, where official clarifications revealed that the location in question was actually an illegal cultivation site in the Palei Reserve rather than a military camp.
Figures associated with the Rajapaksa campaign network—including Udaya Gammanpila, Wimal Weerawansa, and Sarath Weerasekara have consistently been seen driving similar false narratives regarding the LTTE. Currently, individuals such as Diassekara, who purports to be the “Executive Director of the Intercontinental Human Rights Commission,” appear to be advancing these claims through alternative channels.
Investigative authorities have now turned their attention toward his past activities while posing as Shiranthi Rajapaksa’s physician and his ties to the Rajapaksa family.
