Sri Lankans living in Australia have actively begun establishing organizations to facilitate and direct foreign direct investment (FDI) into Sri Lanka.

This formal framework was structured during an official visit to Australia by Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Sunil Handunnetti, where prospective investment projects were identified to boost the domestic economy.

Commenting on these developments, Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurship Development Chathuranga Abeysinghe highlighted that the current administration has demonstrated superior crisis management and operational efficiency compared to past administrative benchmarks in Australia during times of crisis.
