Our letters of credit not accepted internationally – Ranjith Siyambalapitiya

State Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says Sri Lanka’s letters of credit are not accepted internationally. He states that due to this situation, importers of public transport buses, lorries and trucks have faced problems with letters of credit, and they will have to be provided with prompt solutions. Speaking further, he said that the situation had arisen due to the various measures taken due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka and that he was working to resolve the problem related to the international recognition of Sri Lanka’s letters of credit.
