Sri Lankan Youth Political Representatives Participate in International Smart Leadership Session for Excellence
A delegation of youth representatives from various Sri Lankan political parties recently participated in an international training session on organizational development, smart leadership for excellence, and capacity building in India.
The program was organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India alongside the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD). The training successfully took place from July 13th to 18th.
Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of External Affairs of India and upon the invitation of the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, opportunities were granted to 30 young representatives from minority communities across various Sri Lankan political parties. Among them were six youth leaders representing the National People’s Power (NPP).
The NPP representatives who attended the program were:
- Mohamed Fazeer Mohamed Najeem
- Ashraf Mohamed Imran
- Soundararajan Sri Udhaya Punidhan
- Farook Fathima Pashna
- Mohamed Adam Bawa Mohamed Saleem
- Stanley Gishan Raj
In addition to the intensive training sessions, the Indian government facilitated field visits for the participants, including educational tours to iconic historical landmarks such as the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.
